The following text is from a testimonial letter (actual letter is below the text) about the great looking lab (pictured below) that is from Beaut's first litter with Ryder in February of 2009:

Christina,
Here are some pictures of Sherman.  Although he weighs 98#, he is just a tall muscular dog that is very agile for his size.  Sherman is very intelligent and has a great disposition -- very quiet and gentle.  He plays differently with our young grandchildren, ages 1 1/2 to 6, than with Ann or I.  I have heard this dog growl only once, (probably at a deer or some other animal in our back yard one night).  Sherman is very respectful of the "invisible fence".  He loves to play frisbee and chase his Kong toy.  He has been great in the house - only one minor chewing incident - early on.  Of course we kept him crated until he was about a year old, (at night and when we were away).  Thanks for a great companion,
John and Ann Warren
Ps. The pointing picture - he was pointing his Kong toy - waiting for me to throw it.  Good luck with Beaut's new litter!!

Christina, just wanted you to see how happy and well adjusted Jesse and Rocky's Uptown Harley Brown (September, 2007) is!  She's a real joy and a very quick study, and everything you said she would be...including alpha dog to the two older ones!   Laura [Blanked for privacy], [address supplied on request]

Yes, we call her Harley.  I'm glad you sent the pictures to her sister family.  If they're interested, you can give them our email address.  I'd love to see pictures of their dog, too.  .............I know from experience that that's a lot of labs, but knowing Harley's personality, I can't say I blame them at all. ............ I visited your website and see you've been very busy with puppies!  They are all so adorable and we love checking in every once in a while.  Thanks so much for doing what you do!  We're huge fans of your dogs.      Laura.

Dear Christina,

We wanted to let you know how please[d] we are with Snoopy’s obedience training. The month he spent with you was incredibly successful – Snoopy is a different dog. He learned all of the basic commands and more, and is now truly a fun member of the family. He knows how to sit, stay, come when called. He retrieves his bumper and can sit hold and drop and understands his job. We are continuing his training routine at home and it is working fantastic. Snoopy can walk on a leash and when we say “heel” he knows exactly what he is supposed to do. He also is no longer destructive in the house. He gained an understanding of appropriate boundaries. The neatest thing now is that we can play and have fun with him in a way we could not before. Snoopy is high spirited, and he came into our family when I was very ill and we could not give him the type of training and attention that he deserved. We were very worried that we would never have the “family member” that we so wanted in a dog. But because of your training with Snoopy, we have the pet we always wanted. When we came out to visit and pick Snoopy up, we were amazed as we watched you work with him. He had accomplished more than we hoped for. We are excited that he will spend time with you again this summer to continue his training. In fact each year when we travel we hope that Snoopy can spend that time with you. So despite the fact that we are two and a half hours away in Maryland, we know that the best training and boarding place for Snoopy is with you. Thank you for all your time, care and hard work. We look forward to seeing you in June.

All the best,
Courtland, Vivian and Snoopy Lee

Subject: Murphy

Christina -

Sorry for not getting back to you right away.  Absolutely you can use pictures of Murphy.  Let me know if you need any puppy pictures of her!

Here's a quote you can use if you want:

"Murphy is an absolute delight.  She has an insatiable appetite to please and is always eager to learn.  Murphy is also one of the most affection[ate] dogs I have ever been around - in fact she is really a 75lb lap dog.  I couldn't have asked for a better dog."

Have all the puppies in Kate's next litter been spoken for?

Please feel free to call or email me if you need anything else.

Thanks,

Subject: Hannah

You have to own a dog like this to truly appreciate their quality.  Hannah is such a delight.  She is energetic and full of life.  She is extremely smart and quick to learn.  Only 16 months old and she has the poise of a much older dog.  Already she is so loyal and willing to please.  She is also a gorgeous animal, well proportioned with a beautiful coat.  And boy does she love to retrieve and swim!

I attribute a lot of Hannah's qualities to Christina's wonderful care in breeding and acclimating the puppies.  Before you become of their lives, Christina has taken such good care of them.  She gives them so much love that they are trusting and confident at just 7 weeks old.  They even seem to understand that the grass is the place to potty.  I don't think you could find a better puppy to raise to become a member of your family or a hunting companion.

Christina asked me for a couple of sentences, to go with Hannah's picture!  I don't think I could say enough about Hannah or the quality of dog that Christina breeds.

Subject: Carson's progress

Hello Christina,
Carson is doing a spectacular job here at home!  You did wonders with him. Thanks so much.  He's more centered, patient, thoughtful and together.  He's been swimming twice since coming home on Saturday, and is doing a great job twice a day with his training in the field.  He loves it!  He's much more relaxed and willing to take correction and feedback from us.  He's not using the crate and has been extremely respectful of the house.  So far, no growls!

Thanks so much for all of your help!  Please let us know if there is anything we can do to promote your training and kennel care.  We really appreciate the help, especially at such a busy time for you.

Take care and we'll keep in touch w/ his progress.

Kim

Subject: Juliet

Dear Christina,
Thanks so much for helping us find such a wonderful family dog.  As you know, we were interested in getting a Lab because we wanted a dog who would be very gentle around young children.  Although many people had told us that Labs are "good with children," we continue to be amazed by Juliet's sweet and gentle nature when she is with Katie and Maggie and their friends.  Even as an energetic puppy, Juliet seemed to instinctively know that she needed to be extra calm -- and on her best behavior -- whenever she was around the children.  And Maggie, who was really afraid of dogs when we first brought Juliet home, quickly overcame her fear as she discovered how gentle and loving Juliet is.  Now Katie and Maggie have an incredibly deep bond with Juliet.  They are her best friends, and she is their loyal companion -- Juliet would follow them everywhere, if she could!
Juliet has been a great addition to our family -- she is smart, funny, playful, affectionate, and loving -- in other words, a terrific pet.  Thanks again for such a fabulous dog!

Subject: WOODROW

HELLO,
[I] HAVE BEEN MEANING TO SEND A [AN] EMAIL, STATING IN WRITING MY OPINION OF THIS DOG THAT WE HAVE PURCHASED FROM YOU.  BUT I WOULD FIRST LIKE TO TELL ANYONE THAT READS THIS THAT I HAVE BEEN TRAINING DOGS FOR 30YRS. I HAVE TRAINED LABS, SETTERS, GERMAN SHORT HAIRS, BRITTANYS AND HAVE HAD HELP ON A CHESAPEAKE.  BUT OF ALL THE DOGS I HAVE EVER TRAINED AND WORKED , WITH THE USE OF RICHARD A. WOLTERS, OR DELMAR SMITH OR SCOTT MILLER'S TRAINING METHODS, THIS DOG BETS [BEATS] THEM ALL!
IT IS [AS] THOUGH HE HAS THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND. THERE ARE CERTAIN BUTTONS THAT OPENS DOORS WITH THIS DOG. SOMETIMES IT TAKES JUST A LITTLE BIT TO THINK OF HOW TO GET TO HIS LEVEL SO THAT HE CAN UNDERSTAND.  HIS NOSE, I HAVE SEEN HIM WIND THE DUMMIES AT 30 YARDS.  HE DOVE IN ICE COLD WATER AT 3MTHS [MONTHS] AND WAS READY TO GO AGAIN. HE HAS MOVED UP TO DOUBLES, HE TAKES A LINE AND WE ARE NOW GOING THROUGH THE FORCE FETCH JUST TO MAKE THINGS LOOK REAL GOOD. AND TO ADD TO ALL OF THIS, HE IS ONLY 7 MONTHS OLD.
THE DUMMY LAUNCHER HAS TO SHOOT 100 YDS OR HE WILL BE BACK WITH THE DUMMY BEFORE YOU CAN LOAD UP AGAIN. HE HAS CERTAIN WAYS THAT HE WILL LOOK AT YOU THAT REMINDS ME OF SOME OF THE OLDER DOGS OF THE PAST.  ONE DOG THAT I HAD WORKED, OUT OF SNAKE EYES, WAS A LOT LIKE THIS DOG. BUT HE ADDS TO THAT WITH HIS INTELLIGENCE. THE CROSS THAT YOU HAVE WITH ITCHY AND WOODY MAKES THIS ONE OF THE BETTER DOGS THAT I HAVE EVER OWNED.  I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING WHAT WILL COME FROM THIS NEXT LITTER AND I HOPE THAT THERE WILL BE ONE IN THERE THAT WILL HAVE JUST A LITTLE MORE OF THE JUICE, BUT NOT TO SAY THAT I AM DISAPPOINTED WITH WOODROW. HE IS AN EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT DOG AND WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH HIM!
WE WOULD BE VERY HAPPY TO TALK WITH ANYONE THAT NEEDS A REFERENCE OR JUST WOULD LIKE TO TALK ABOUT YOUR DOGS OR ESPECIALLY WOODROW....

It wouldn't be fair for me to not let you know how pleased we are with Barnabus (formerly Yogi). ...Barney has had a few voidings on the floor (thimble sized bladder) but he has NOT YET POOPED IN THE HOUSE OR HIS CRATE!  I find that truly remarkable and I give you (and the breed, of course) most of the credit.
...My son, visiting from Indiana, cannot believe him.  Chris wanted a boxer, but I think he will probably be a convert after this visit.  Labs are so great, and Barney [is] the best puppy we've ever had.  ...Thank you for all you did to bring Barnabus about.  The breeding, but mostly the care and the personal attention that makes him the spectacular dog he is.  ...Thanks again, John W.

Christina, I just wanted to let you know how much we love Jazz (Hattie to you).  The first 24 hours she was very quiet.  She slept with JC that night, and actually has slept with him every night since then.   Don't worry about this one.  She is well loved and on the way to probably being somewhat spoiled.  [We] can't spoil her too much or Jim will skin us, since he wants her to duck hunt....B.M.O.
